Sanjeev Rajput shot a score of 595 (99,99,99,99,100,99) and like Lajja he too tied with six others for the last eight final berth of the men's air rifle final. In the shoot off, Rajput shot 49.4 and settled for the 13th position.
Imran Hasan Khan shot three perfect series of 100,100,100 and then followed it with 96, 100 and 98 to finish 15th with a score of 594. PT Raghunath was 16th with a score of 594 (98,98,100,100,99,99). In the MQS, Parmendra Kumar shot 582 (99,99,96,96,95,97).
Gold went to Zhu Qinan with a score of 699.1 (596+103.1).
